More Details

The Marin Four Corners 1 is built for riders who want a dependable bicycle for gravel riding, long-distance touring, bikepacking, commuting and everyday adventure. Designed around a durable Series 1 CrMo steel frame, it delivers a stable, comfortable ride with the strength required for loaded touring and mixed-surface exploration.

Marin uses size-specific wheel sizing to maintain balanced handling across the full size range. XS and S sizes use 650B wheels, while M, L and XL sizes are designed around 700C wheels. Combined with Marin’s Biometric Geometry, this helps provide a comfortable fit and predictable ride characteristics for different rider heights and body proportions.

The matching Series 1 CrMo fork is designed with practicality in mind. Fender, rack and bottle cage eyelets give riders multiple options for carrying luggage, hydration and touring equipment. The frame also includes dedicated rack and fender mounts, making the Four Corners 1 highly adaptable for commuting, unsupported touring and multi-day bikepacking trips.

A modern Shimano CUES 2x9-speed drivetrain delivers reliable and versatile shifting. The Shimano CUES FDU6030 front derailleur and RDU3020 rear derailleur are operated through Shimano CUES STU3030 dual-control levers, allowing riders to shift and brake comfortably from the drop-bar cockpit.

The Shimano CUES FCU6030-2 46/32T crankset works with an 11-36T Shimano CUES cassette to provide a broad gear range. This setup gives riders lower gearing for steep climbs and loaded touring while still offering efficient gears for cruising on paved roads and faster gravel sections. A Shimano LinkGlide LG500 chain and outboard bearing bottom bracket complete the drivetrain with durability and consistent power transfer.

Stopping performance comes from Tektro Spyre-C mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors at both the front and rear. The dual-piston road mechanical disc design provides controlled braking and dependable stopping performance across paved roads, gravel routes and changing weather conditions.

The bike rolls on Marin aluminum double-wall rims with forged aluminum alloy 32-hole hubs and 14g black stainless-steel spokes. Vee Tire Co. QuickStyk 45mm tires provide a wider contact patch for improved comfort, stability and traction on rough roads, gravel paths and uneven surfaces.

For improved control on adventure terrain, the Four Corners 1 features a Marin butted alloy compact handlebar with a 16-degree flare. The flared drops provide extra leverage and confidence on rough sections, while multiple hand positions help reduce fatigue on longer rides. Marin Comfort Bar Tape with shock-absorbing gel pads further improves vibration damping and hand comfort.

The cockpit is completed with a Marin 3D forged alloy stem and an FSA No.8D headset with sealed cartridge bearings. A 27.2mm Marin alloy seatpost, Marin MTB saddle and nylon platform pedals provide a practical and comfortable finishing setup.

With its CrMo steel construction, Shimano CUES 2x9 drivetrain, 45mm tires, mechanical disc brakes and extensive mounting capability, the Marin Four Corners 1 is a highly versatile choice for riders looking for one bicycle that can handle daily commuting, gravel adventures, long-distance touring and fully loaded bikepacking.

Ideal For: Gravel riding, bikepacking, touring, commuting, adventure cycling, long-distance rides and mixed-terrain exploration.
