The EXAR Pro RB45 carbon wheelset is built for riders who demand speed, stability, and superior efficiency. Unlike conventional wheels made from separate sub-assemblies, the EXAR series is engineered as a fully integrated system, optimizing weight, aerodynamics, and stiffness for peak performance.
Crafted with HI-MOD carbon fiber, the rims deliver excellent stiffness while reducing overall weight. At just 1350g, the wheelset ensures easier climbing, faster sprints, and improved handling. The automatic carbon fiber winding process enhances durability and consistency, while the 36T flat ratchet system provides fast, precise, and stable engagement with greater durability.
Designed for aerodynamics, the 27mm external / 20mm internal rim width works seamlessly with 25c–28c tires, reducing drag and enhancing speed. A unique grooved dewatering line improves wet-weather braking, and the heat-resistant resin layer withstands up to 240°C, preventing rim failure during long descents.
UCI-approved for racing, the EXAR Pro RB45 features asymmetric rear rim design for balanced spoke tension and improved power transfer. Pillar Wing21 flat aero spokes enhance stiffness and aerodynamics, while self-locking nipples ensure long-lasting spoke stability. The wheels are tubeless-ready with factory-installed rim tape, supporting both clincher and tubeless setups.
