CeramicSpeed BB90 Trek Shimano Bottom Bracket – Precision Efficiency for Trek Road Frames
The CeramicSpeed BB90 Trek Shimano Bottom Bracket is designed exclusively for Trek road bikes utilizing the oversized BB90 bottom bracket standard. With a 90.5mm shell width, this system allows the bearings to sit directly inside the frame, eliminating excess material and external cups for a lighter, stiffer, and more efficient drivetrain interface.
Each kit includes two precision-engineered CeramicSpeed Bearings, available in Standard or Coated versions. Both feature ultra-smooth, perfectly round CeramicSpeed Balls running in hardened-steel races to minimize rolling resistance and maximize durability. The Coated Bearings take performance further with a unique metallic surface treatment that delivers lower drag, superior corrosion resistance, and an extended lifespan.
Key Features
Trek-Specific BB90 Design: Exclusively for Trek road frames using a 90.5mm shell width and 24mm spindles.
Seamless Shimano Integration: Compatible with Shimano and other 24mm thru-axle cranksets such as FSA.
Ultra-Low Friction: Standard Bearings produce just 0.3–0.4 watts of drag — up to 75% lower than conventional bottom brackets.
Extended Lifespan: Standard Bearings last 3x longer than typical bearings; Coated versions add another 60% increase in service life.
Customizable Grease Options: Supplied with All Round Grease for balanced performance; optional Race Day (low drag) or Long Life (durable) greases available.
