Marin Team Marin 1 – 29" Black (Size M)
The Modern XC Machine for Speed, Control, and Confidence
The Marin Team Marin 1 is built for riders who want cross-country efficiency with modern trail capability. Designed to blur the lines between lightweight race rocket and fun-focused trail machine, this hardtail is fast enough to chase podiums and tough enough to explore everything from flow trails to technical climbs.
At its core is a Series 4 6061 aluminum frame, engineered with progressive XC geometry to keep riders in control and confident across all trail types. With a long front center, short rear end, and low-slung front triangle, the bike delivers razor-sharp handling, climbing agility, and downhill stability. The frame also features Boost 148mm spacing, internal cable routing, and a 29-inch wheel platform, making it sleek, efficient, and future-upgrade ready.
Up front, a RockShox Judy Silver TK fork offers 120mm of smooth, tunable travel. Equipped with Motion Control damping, the fork absorbs trail chatter while maintaining pedaling efficiency—perfect for big XC days or aggressive terrain. Stopping duties are handled by Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes, paired with a 180mm front rotor and 160mm rear, delivering confidence-inspiring power when descending fast or navigating switchbacks.
The drivetrain is powered by MicroSHIFT’s Advent X 1x10 setup, known for its trail-tough reliability and clutch-equipped rear derailleur. The 11–48T wide-range cassette gives you gearing to power up climbs and sprint across flats without complexity or excess weight. A Marin-forged alloy crankset with a 32T narrow-wide chainring keeps your chain tight and shifting silent on rough descents.
It rolls on Marin double-wall aluminum rims laced to Boost-spaced alloy hubs, wrapped in aggressive and fast-rolling Vee Tire Co. Rail Rocco 29x2.3” tires. These tires strike a balance between speed and traction, ideal for dry XC courses and technical singletrack.
Unique in this price class, the Team Marin 1 includes a TranzX dropper post, giving riders on size M the added confidence and descending control that’s typically reserved for higher-end builds.
Whether you're tackling your first endurance race, pushing limits on weekend rides, or just riding hard and fast, the Marin Team Marin 1 delivers on all fronts—speed, capability, and long-term value.
