HCL Cyclothon is one of India’s largest cycling events, organized by the HCL Group with the aim of promoting cycling as a sport, a fitness activity, and an eco-friendly lifestyle choice. The event is conducted in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), ensuring that all races follow national standards for safety, fairness, and professional race management. HCL Cyclothon is held annually in major cities such as Noida, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, attracting cyclists from across the country.
The event features multiple race categories to suit different skill levels, including professional road races for CFI-licensed riders, amateur road and MTB races, and green rides designed for beginners and fitness enthusiasts. Routes are carefully planned on wide, well-maintained city roads and loop circuits to ensure smooth riding conditions. Each race includes medical support, hydration points, trained volunteers, and strict safety measures such as mandatory helmet use and technical supervision.
Participation in HCL Cyclothon has grown steadily every year. In the previous edition, events like the Noida Cyclothon witnessed over 2,600 participants in a single city, including professional cyclists, amateur riders, and community groups. For the current season, HCL Cyclothon is expected to see even higher registrations, with expanded race formats, new host cities, and increased interest from young cyclists, making it one of the most impactful cycling initiatives in India.
